The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by the president, Steve Evans.

Old Business:

Steve announced that our web site is up and running. Thanks goes out to all members who helped with its initiation especially Linda Gruber, David McCool and Susan Pumphrey. The web site is located at 4stateapn.org.

The prior meeting minutes were received and no changes were made.

Kip Davis is presently auditing the treasurer. The results of the audit will be posted on our web site. Frank Tisdale made a motion that the president of our organization should also have check-writing authority. The motion was made and seconded. All voted to accept the new proposal.

The nomination committee presented a list of members willing to run for office. After majority votes, the newly elected officers are as listed:

President: Steve Evans

Vice-President: Julie Hanks

Secretary: Susan Pumphrey

Treasurer: William “Kip” Davis

Steve Evans made a motion to pay David McCool (Executive Assistant) a salary per project in relation to the time spent and difficulty of the task. A motion was made and seconded. All members agreed to the proposal. The group determined that the salary for David McCool’s efforts with the web site project should be $300.

New Business:

The frequency of meetings was discussed by the group. Beginning in June, our group will attempt to meet monthly. Business will be accomplished at the regular quarterly meetings. The business meetings will be held in January, April, July and October of each year.

Scholarships to the AANP convention in Florida were announced. Anita Singleton and Susan Pumphrey will have their conference tuition fees waived by the AANP organization.

The 20th annual national conference will be in Ft. Lauderdale June 17-21, 2005.

A planning committee was selected for our 2006 Seminar in February. Julie Hawks will head the committee. Kimberly Baker, Frank Tisdale, Cindy Selbe and Sandra Richardson will serve on the committee.

Frank Tisdale listed the nominees for the AANP Practitioner of the Year for Missouri. Steve Evans and Anita Singleton are the nominees. The winner will be recognized at the AANP National Convention in June. State Senator Daughtery (R-MO) was elected as Missouri’s AANP Advocate of the Year due to his efforts with Senate Bill #90.

Sandra Richardson presented a slide presentation to the group regarding her trip to Ghana Africa. She discussed how she used the 4 State APN donation to purchase medications.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
